Sinks at Saanchal Integrals

Our range, the brands behind it, and how we help you choose with confidence.

Our sink range covers 304 grade stainless steel and quartz composite, in single bowl, double bowl, workstation and undermount formats, from Faber, with the wastes, baskets and accessories that go with them.

We help you pick by your counter and your cooking. Tell us whether the slab is already cut, how many large vessels you wash daily and whether you prefer steel or a coloured quartz, and we will narrow it to the sinks that fit, with the mounting decided before the fabricator arrives.

A Buyer's Guide to Sinks

What to get right before you buy, and the mistakes we help our clients avoid.

Lower Gauge Number Means Thicker Steel

A 16 gauge sink is thicker and quieter than a 20 gauge one. For a main kitchen sink, 16 or 18 gauge is worth the difference.

Depth Matters More Than Width

A bowl of 9 to 10 inches holds a full set of vessels and stops splashing. Many standard sinks are shallower than they look in the showroom.

Decide Mounting Before the Counter Is Cut

Undermount needs the slab cut and the edge polished. If the counter is already fabricated for a top mount, undermount is no longer an option.

Quartz for Quiet, Steel for Durability

Quartz absorbs noise and resists heat and stains well. Steel takes more abuse and is easier to repair cosmetically. Both are good, they just fail differently.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers to the questions we hear most about sinks.

What is the best sink size for an Indian kitchen?

A single bowl of around 24 x 18 inches with a 9 inch depth suits most households, because Indian vessels are large. Double bowl works well if you have the counter length for it.

Is quartz better than stainless steel?

Quartz is quieter, resists stains and handles heat well. Steel is tougher against impact and easier to live with long term. Choose on how your kitchen is used rather than on which is generally better.

Can a sink be changed later without redoing the counter?

A top mount can usually be swapped for another of the same or larger size. Moving from top mount to undermount, or to a smaller sink, means recutting or replacing the counter.

What is a workstation sink?

A sink with a built in ledge so a chopping board, colander and drying rack slide over the bowl. It effectively adds working surface over the sink, which is useful in a short kitchen.

Do sinks come with waste fittings?

Some models include the waste coupling, many do not. Check at the time of purchase, and budget for a bottle trap as well if your plumbing needs one.

How do I stop water marks on a steel sink?

Wipe it dry after the last use of the day. Most marks are mineral deposits from hard water rather than damage to the steel. Nano coated and matt finishes show them far less.
